The Summer I Got a Life by Mark Fink - If you are looking for a light, funny read in the middle of winter try this book. Andy Crenshaw, 15, thought he would be spending part of his summer in beautiful Hawaii. Instead, his parents cancel the trip at the list minute and ship him and his brother (they disagree about pretty much everything) off to Wisconsin to spend two weeks with their free-spirited aunt and uncle (ex-hippies) who they barely know. How will Andy survive two weeks on a farm in the middle of rural Wisconsin with no TV or Internet? Highly recommended.
