Book Pick of the Week - Teen Review

Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

Little Brother is a realistic fiction book about several teenagers who, after surviving a terrorist attack in San Francisco, are appalled at the Department of Homeland Security’s tactics in keeping the US safe. Once the DHS starts going against the Bill of Rights, Marcus Yellow, a computer genius, takes matters into his own hands. He starts developing a network where teens can freely communicate and speak their opinions, but when the DHS finds out, what will happen...? Highly recommended, though to older teens and young adults.
