The second-to-last book of the incredibly popular Maximum Ride series, Angel, brings entirely new conflicts into play. After breaking Max’s heart, Fang has begun to form a new flock, known as “Fang’s Gang”. Max, who has been feeling depressed from Fang’s absence, soon realizes that Dylan is wiser than she’d previously thought, and becomes closer to him. When the two flocks discover a new apocalyptic plan, they are forced to cross paths. With Fang and Max’s unresolved feelings, things might get a little out of hand. Recommended to all James Patterson fans.
