Green Witch by Alice Hoffman
Green lost everythng in a fire across the river - her family, the city she loved, and her sources of joy. She goes searching for the witches that many speak of and they fear she's one so she leaves her village. Green looks for the witches to find her heart's desire. She finds them all and learns different lessons from them. They help her find courage as she breaks into the Harde's prison and frees her people. She uses each of the gifts that the witches gave her and finds her best friend and her long lost love. Green now knows that she is the Green witch who can give anyone their heart' desire.
This book teaches valuable life lessons and is a beautiful book. I recommend this book to everyone.
