17 year old Taylor Edwards and her family lead normal, everyday lives until her father gets diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her family decides to spend one last summer together in their lake house in the Poconos which the family hasn't visited in the last several years. Taylor spends the summer coming to grips with her father's illness and getting reacquainted with her former friends and boyfriend. Fans of Sarah Dessen are sure to enjoy this sad and heartbreaking story - highly recommended.
