One of my favorite books of the year. 17 year old Summer Stetson was born after her older sister Shannon died . Summer was always led to believe that Shannon was perfect and she has found it very difficult to measure up to the memory of her dead sister. On Summer's 17th birthday, her aunt gives her Shannon's diary and Summer finds out some heart wrenching truths about Shannon and their parents. Highly recommended.
