Ultraviolet by R.J. Anderson - Fast paced, highly recommended book. Part paranormal romance and part science fiction, this is the story of Alison, who finds herself in a mental institution after possibly violently killing a classmate, Tori. Alison cannot remember what happened and doubts her sanity. Alison feels abandoned and betrayed by her family and best friend. No one, it appears, wants to help her except possibly young, attractive Dr. Faraday who may not be who he says he is. It looks like the author will be coming out with a sequel in 2013.
